Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture 

Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture offers a non-invasive approach to facial rejuvenation by inserting super fine acupuncture needles into the skin to stimulate the production and distribution of fibroblasts (cells that form collagen and elastin) to the needle sites. Both collagen and elastin are key to a smooth and glowing complexion. As we age, levels of both will decrease in our skin, causing the appearance of fine lines and age spots, as well as sagging skin.

While Mei Zen targets the face and neck, the stimulation of fibroblast production balances the distribution of collagen throughout your body. This is why many who undergo Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture will notice overall improvements to skin tone, lifting, and more elasticity or suppleness to their skin. The effects of Mei Zen are cumulative, so a complete protocol and maintenance will greatly increase your collagen and elastin levels.

The protocol starts with a 20-minute consultation followed by a 60 minute treatment which includes needles, cupping, Guasha and light therapy. An ideal course of treatment is once per week for five weeks and then seasonal maintenance, but we can build a custom plan based on your goals and availability.
